Blaenau Gwent Carers Engagement Project is able to offer you free confidential information and advice to help anyone in a caring role. Private one-to- one drop sessions will commence at GLAN RHYD SURGERY on 23rd September 2016 and will be held on a fortnightly basis. This project offers advice on a range of services relevant to carers and those they look after, including carers rights, available respite care services along with assistance in accessing a carers assessment. For those carers who would like to discuss their caring role within their own homes, home visits can also be arranged.
Take Care, Not Antibiotics
NHS UK have produced some helpful and fun little videos reminding all patients that antibiotics don't work on coughs, colds, sore throats or flu. Please take 30 seconds to watch this short video and please pass it on to your friends and family.

We are a training practice - find out more
The practice is a training practice for General Practitioners. A trainee GP is a qualified doctor who has chosen to specialise in General practice and has to undergo various training to enable them to do this. Whilst they work in the practice they are known as a Registrar.
It is possible that you will see the Registrar when you make an appointment and you can be sure that they are all properly qualified and supervised doctors.
