Glan Rhyd Surgery now has a waiting room blood pressure monitor. Why not call by, have your blood pressure recorded at your own convenience and hand the printed reading to a member of the reception team.

We are pleased to inform all our patients and patients registered elsewhere, that we now provide IUD/IUS (coil) insertions and removals. Please contact the surgery for further information.

Out of Hours 

Weekend & Night Cover

  • During the working week (8.00am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday), your own Gp practice is available. Outside of these hours and on Bank Holidays, if you can't wait until your usual GP practice re-opens, you can now telephone 111. 

111 Wales will be able to offer a range of health information, advie and urgent treament when your condition or issue is urgent but not life threatening. 

111 is free to call from landlines and mobiles

Please remember, 999 should only ever be used when there is a life threatening emergency. So if its not an emerency, use 111
