Glan Rhyd Surgery now has a waiting room blood pressure monitor. Why not call by, have your blood pressure recorded at your own convenience and hand the printed reading to a member of the reception team.

We are pleased to inform all our patients and patients registered elsewhere, that we now provide IUD/IUS (coil) insertions and removals. Please contact the surgery for further information.

Practice Management

Mrs Helen Thomas (f)

Our Practice Manager is responsible for all administrative and business issues within the practice. Helen and the management team are only too happy to assist you with any non-medical aspects of your health care. If you have queries, comments or questions, please do contact one of the team. We want Glan Rhyd Surgery to provide an excellent service at all times, and we will be glad to work alongside our patients in order to achieve this.

Administration

You may contact our practice secretary concerning queries over hospital referrals, private referrals and to arrange insurance medical examinations. Tel: 01495 301210 (option 2).

Reception

We have eight receptionists who should be contacted for appointments, arranging urgent consultations or home visits, test results and prescription queries. Our experienced reception team have a challenging role to fulfil, balancing the limited number of appointments with the high volume of patient requests. Please help them to help you by treating them with respect and courtesy at all times. They are on your side!
