Problems with bones, joints, nerves and muscles are often grouped together and called musculoskeletal conditions. Musculoskeletal is often shortened to MSK.

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has developed this website to support the community of Gwent to understand common muscle, joint and bone concerns and what can be done to help.

There is a lot more to understand about musculoskeletal health than the area where you may feel pain. We have designed a three-step approach to help you understand your options and encourage you to think about everything that might be affecting you. 

 

You will find lots of information and advice on making positive healthy choices to not only help keep you mentally and physically well but also help prevent and improve musculoskeletal conditions. You can also find information that is more relevant to particular areas of the body.

Yn aml, caiff problemau gydag esgyrn, cymalau, nerfau a chyhyrau eu grwpio gyda’i gilydd a’u galw’n gyflyrau cyhyrysgerbydol. Yn aml, mae ‘cyhyrysgerbydol’ yn cael ei fyrhau i CYs. 

 Mae Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Aneurin Bevan wedi datblygu’r wefan hon i gefnogi cymuned Gwent i ddeall pryderon cyffredin ynghylch y cyhyrau, y cymalau a’r esgyrn a’r hyn y gellir ei wneud i helpu. 

 Mae llawer mwy i’w ddeall am iechyd cyhyrysgerbydol na’r rhan o’r corff lle gallech fod yn teimlo poen.  Rydym wedi cynllunio dull tri cham i'ch helpu i ddeall eich opsiynau a'ch annog i feddwl am yr holl bethau a allai fod yn effeithio arnoch chi. 

 

Byddwch yn dod o hyd i lawer o wybodaeth a chyngor ar wneud dewisiadau iachus positif bydd yn cynorthwyo i gadw chi’n iach yn gorfforol ag yn feddyliol ond hefyd yn gwella eich cyflyrau cyhyrysgerbydol.  Gallwch hefyd ddod o hyd i wybodaeth isod sy’n fwy perthnasol i rannau penodol o’r corff.
