Practice Manager Helen Thomas is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice, to ensure that the right systems are in place, to ensure a high level of quality for patient care. She supports the GP Partners and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. Helen is supported by the Deputy Practice Manager, Emma Vokes. Emma deals with the daily operational management within the practice.

Our Prescribing Team is led by our Practice Pharmacist Mr Chris Peberdy who is supported by our Pharmacy Technician. The Prescribing team deal with medication queries and reconciliation following discharge from hospital or changes made by hospital consultants.

Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner works Monday, Thursday and Friday. You may be offered a consultation with her for on-the-day symptoms.

We have 2 Practice Nurses and a Nurse Practitioner who deals with a range of services such as chronic disease management, immunisations, dressings, wound management, contraception services plus much more. Our Nurse Practitioner who joined us In October 2022, is a Specialist Paediatric Nurse Practitioner and carries out minor illness clinics and long-term management of conditions such as constipation, eczema and reflux. These clinics are for children and young people under the age of 18 years old.

We have 2 Health Care Assistants who work at the practice. They carry out a variety of tasks including immunisations, chronic disease reviews, blood pressure checks, lifestyle advice and simple dressings.

We have 8 receptionists who may be contacted for appointments, arranging urgent consultations or home visits, test results and prescription queries. Our team have a challenging role to fulfill, balancing the limited number of appointments with the high volume of patient requests.
